Biomedical Informatics promotes Biomedical Informatics Society and Agro Informatics Society for working on rural issues that need attention. The Biomedical Informatics society and Agro Informatics Society are not-for-profit organisations that provide services to  common people.

Differentials in health status continue to exist between urban and rural population. Biomedical Informatics society supports in improving the health status of the rural population. It aims to provide home health care through Telemedicine.

The Agro Informatics Society assists agriculturalist for the advancement in agriculture and improvement of farm labours. The society aims to support farming and rural industries by spreading information about the best in agricultural development and practice for excellence in the field.
